Buy Life Insurance When others Depend on Your Earnings

If you were depending a someone like this for your earnings then you might want to rethink your situation.

In any case you should only buy life insurance yourself if other’s depend on your salary.  According to Jack Huntington, Analyst, “for a couple, I would recommend life insurance if they depend on each other’s income to make ends meet”.

According to the Journal Gazette, you might also get some life insurance for a stay-at-home parent, because if he or she were to pass away, the surviving spouse would likely face higher household expenses – to buy services that his or her spouse had been providing for “free” – and possibly reduced income if the person couldn’t work as much as he or she had in the past.

Insurance Fraud Bill Gaining Momentum

The message is everywhere in Pennsylvania on public service billboards and TV ads: Committing insurance fraud can mean jail time.

As reported by Ottaway News Service, house lawmakers are pushing new legislation to make tougher penalties for insurance fraud, including revoking driving privileges, and to expand the legal definition of what fraud is. A five-bill package was debated Tuesday at a joint hearing of the House Insurance and Judiciary Committees.

State officials told lawmakers that it’s difficult to gauge the scope of a practice that can range from individuals padding insurance claims, people “staging accidents” and organized enterprises engaged in medical bill ripoffs. Some 1,600 cases of suspected fraud were reported to law enforcement officials last year, according to state Insurance Department figures which show a steady increase in reports in recent years.

The Insurance Information Institute estimates that property insurance fraud cost insurers about nationally $30 billion in 2004.

“So obviously it is not a good idea to commit home insurance fraud but why not do the best you can to save money on your house insurance when it is so easy to do so online?” says Jack Huntington, Analyst.  To get free quotes on your house insurance just click here: house insurance quotes.

Obey the Rules, Wear Your Helmet and Make Sure You’re Properly Insured

"Obey the rules of the road” is one of the most important aspects of safely riding a motorcycle. The following video illustrates a number of “What-not-to-do’s”.

Two absolute “not-to-do’s” include not wearing a helmet and riding without motorcycle insurance.

As reported at Tallahassee.com, the Sheriff’s Office traffic unit in Tallahassee worries about motorcyclists who take risks.  About half the riders he sees violate basic safety and traffic laws, Barrow said. Violations include not wearing a helmet, not wearing eye protection which is required by law, speeding, weaving, not being a licensed driver and not having insurance.

According to Jack Huntington, Analyst, “It’s very important to find a good training facility which can teach you what you need to know before hitting the road.” The one part that we can really help you with says Jack, is the insurance.  Get a motorcycle insurance quote and see if you don’t get a great deal on your insurance at our Kanetix.com web site.  It’s free.  Just click here to get started: motorcycle insurance quote.
