It was rated as one of the ten best animal exhibits by USA Today.

Toledo has a strong automotive industry, with the Big Three automotive companies all operating a factory in the city. The “Jeep” has been manufactured here since 1941. The Port of Toledo is a Great Lakes shipping point and it is one of the largest shippers of bituminous coal and ships oil, farm products and auto parts as well. Toledo also has a significant healthcare industry.
